Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine, in St. Augustine, FL, is the leading nonprofit classic car museum serving Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville, Palm Coast, Daytona, Palatka, Nocatee and surrounding areas. We offer classic car photography and rentals for weddings. We also have an event space to host any event such as weddings, retirement parties, wealth management meetings, conferences, art shows and much more. What a gem to find in St. Augustine. If you want to see an extremely diverse collection of fine automobiles, then you need to check out the CCM. I was even able to meet and talk to Sidney (owner) and his wife. I will say that Sidney is the Jay Leno of the east coast, and they are some of the nicest people you would ever meet. We chatted about our automotive histories and how we came to be. It's nice to share visions we have had and what has come to fruition and what yet will be. By the way, did I mention every vehicle in the museum runs?

At the Classic Car Museum of St Augustine, Florida, I had the privilege of experiencing such beauty with my daughter, thanks to the kindness and generosity of Sidney and Brenda Hobbs, the owners. My daughter's passion for cars, ignited by the 2006 Disney film "Cars," has only grown stronger with time. As a high school senior, class of 2021, I wanted to capture her senior photos in a way that reflected her passion, so I reached out to Sidney Hobbs of The Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine, Florida. After listening to my vision, he graciously invited us to take the photos at the museum, even offering to open the museum on a day it was closed. This act of kindness was especially meaningful, as my daughter has high-functioning autism and often feels overwhelmed by crowds. Through their selfless act, Sidney and Brenda Hobbs created an unforgettable experience for us. With 30,000 square feet of classic cars to explore, my daughter was in her element, reveling in the thrill of gripping steering wheels, sitting in plush car seats, and feeling the rush of adrenaline as she accelerated. As we navigated the museum, the roar of engines and the excitement of our adventure left an indelible mark on our hearts. In her own words, my daughter exclaimed, "I had the best day of my life!" This day will forever be etched in our memories as a testament to the power of kindness and the joy of pursuing one's passions. If you're looking for a way to put a smile on your loved one's face, to be treated with kindness and respect, and to experience a memorable, educational, and fun-filled day that will leave you feeling inspired, then visit the Classic Car Museum in St Augustine, Florida. My wife and I were on vacation in Amelia Island, and I am always looking for classic car stores or events when we travel. I asked for recommendations on the corvetteforum and was told this was a must see. We pulled the top off our '17 Vette and took the ferry to A1A all the way. It was a cool drive and of course we had to listen to "ICE, ICE Baby" several times on the way. (If your old enough, you know why) LOL!!! We got to the museum and from the start, were not disappointed. My wife is a newbie to old cars but is now married to an old gear head that reverts to a little kid in a candy store when around classics, resto-mods and muscle cars. We were walking around freely. The museum was comfortable and laid back, NOT a stuffy collectors vibe at all. My wife poked her head in the garage restoration area and listened to a couple of guys talking. She came back out, and we started to walk again when Scott came out and said, "Hey, what's your favorite?" We were standing by the '49 Ford "Christmas Truck" which she loves, and she was telling Scott that we decorate using the old red ford truck theme every year. Scott then asked, "Would you like to sit in it?". Now who do you think was a kid in a candy store? After that, Scott said, "But what's your favorite?". This time she pointed at the white Rolls with a big smile. Scott said' "Let's go sit in it". She moved so fast, I was left behind.... Scott continued to show us around, telling stories and letting us sit in different cars. He is a true car guy and loves what he does. When we were leaving, we were invited in and met the owner, Sidney Hobbs. Another really nice guy that is a true car guy. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Even if you don't know anything about cars, you will enjoy the atmosphere.
